Please email learning-labs@uow.edu.au or attach any medical plans related to your child’s medical condition. If your child is anaphylactic, asthmatic or diabetic, up to date medical plans are required prior to attendance. This is required each time you apply. Students are also required to bring their medication each day they attend.

To assist us with our future planning and to ensure the safety of our students, families and our community, we are keen to understand the vaccination status of those who will be involved in the program. Your response to this question will not impact your child’s placement in Learning Labs.
As such, we invite you to answer the following question so we can plan appropriately to ensure the safety of all those involved in various programs on the UOW campus. This is not a mandatory field. The following information will be treated in a confidential manner and where possible the data will be de-identified for planning or reporting purposes. Further information will be provided as we get closer to the event.

Cost
The standard fee for each program stream:
* One-day workshop: $100.
* Two-day workshop: $180-200
Prices for two-day workshops vary depending on age group and workshop type. Please see the web site and workshop descriptions for specific two-day workshop pricing.

Please note - Creative Kids Vouchers:
Please refer to the Workshop Descriptions for all workshops eligible to use a Creative Kids Voucher. We are only allowed to except Creative Kids Vouchers towards workshops based on certain subject areas (generally visual arts, computing and public speaking), as determined by the NSW government.

Alternatively, you can apply for a sponsored placement if you meet one of the criteria below.
We have limited sponsorship places available. If we are unable to provide a sponsorship, you will be offered a fee place position.

I understand that if my child tests positive for COVID-19 or is diagnosed with the flu, they are not permitted to attend Learning Labs and a refund and/or credit will be provided. *

Students will be participating in an adult learning environment and will be supervised by a combination of UOW Academics, Assistants, Teachers and Learning Labs volunteers. Primary school students will be ushered to and from bathrooms and supervised during break times. High School students will have some freedom to choose their break time location on campus.

Successful applicants will be sent information regarding payment at this time. Payment must be received to confirm your place in the program.
