This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of equipment loans from TAEM Technical Services. Please review the following points carefully.
• Equipment loans can be made at the Technical Services counter or via email: taem-techsupport@uow.edu.au. • Weekday loans: equipment may be loaned overnight. All equipment must be returned by 9.30am the following day. • Weekend loans: when loaning equipment on a Friday, it must be returned by 9:30am the following Monday. • Note: ALL equipment must be returned by 9.30am unless an alternative return time has been organised with a technical officer.
• Studio and room bookings can be made at the Technical Services counter or via email: taem‐techsupport@uow.edu.au. • Technical spaces are available to be used for course related work. Access times to these spaces are varied. Please discuss using these spaces with TAEM technical staff prior to making a booking. • It is your responsibility to collect and return keys to the Technical Services counter. If returning after hours, keys are to be left in the return box next to the counter window. • Please ensure rooms are left clean and secure.
• Students who do not return equipment on or before the due date and time will incur one (1) demerit point. • After three (3) demerit points have been allocated, a notice will be sent via email and the student will be suspended from loaning for one month. Demerits will stay on a student’s account for twelve months. • If a student fails to return equipment, all loans privileges will be suspended until all overdue resources have been returned. A student’s results may be withheld if equipment is not returned.
• Students will be held liable for lost, damaged or stolen equipment. • Do not leave equipment unattended. • Please report any equipment faults or damage immediately.
